Department of Mathematics established in the year 1992 with UG Programme. Primary objective of the department is to impart quality education in the subject Mathematics as a basic science and its applied branches to the students from rural area. The departmental courses include the value based education and entrepreneurial skills among the students. The department provides opportunities for professional and personal development through the curricular and co-curricular activities.
The department conducts student centered seminars and workshops.
The departmental students will develop a better understanding and interaction with the new changing world. Students of the department cultivate a diverse approach toward various branches of Mathematics such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Mechanics, Number theory, Analysis etc.
